We've never read Harry Potter or seen a film, so we can't judge her writing skills, but JK Rowling strikes us as somebody of below average intelligence and very bigoted when it comes to talking about life and yet her fantasy writings seem to make her feel qualified to speak out on anything she fancies. Born in 1965, like me, Rowling seems to know very little about feminism. The shrieks of 'TRANS-WOMEN ARE PREVERTS WHO WANT TO ABUSE WOMEN!' seem to appeal to her, as does the notion that men are less trustworthy than women as carers, nurses, etc. Rowling, of course, fails to make comparisons with her own gender unless it's the fact she believes she and others of her kind are 'sugar and spice and all things nice'. She does, of course, make her queenly pronouncements to an audience of adorers, who love her fantasy tales, and in a comfortable environment largely provided by glass cellar job men upkeeping the infrastructure.  We don't like Gad Saad here particularly. We find him arrogant, pretentious and rather too fond of himself. We agree with some of what he says, disagree with others, but it's his attitude of being part of some kind of elite 'bubble' which turns us off. However, live and let live and usually we just ignore him. But when he describes people concerned about male genital mutilation, circumcision, an unnecessary operation which actually kills some infant boys, as 'imbeciles' we break our silence.  Gad looks down from on high. He's an academic he often tells us, he moves in the world of academia. Sadly, that is no indication of intelligence or compassion. We're tired of people like Gad.
